cory & jenny:
15 WEEKS PREGNANT!!! going for sonogram on 9/9 to find out if it's a boy or girl!!!

jeff & emily:
emily's dad finally went to the doctor for a check up (had not been in a long time). everything is fine!

patrick & jill:
patrick's brother & his wife went into labor early. they did get it stopped, but she is on bed rest. she needs to go a few more weeks!

jerry & bethanie:
due with twin girls - want to make it to 37 weeks (she is 34/35 weeks now!)

mike & erin:
detailed ultrasound this week

tommy & suzanne:
good friends, jeff & shana, are expecting their 3rd child - another boy. the baby has cleft lip & palate and possibly other conditions. tommy's cousin, nicki, and her family will be moving to florida soon - her husband is senior pastor at a fbc vidalia (louisiana) and has taken a position at a church in fl. jeremy (mary peyton's football friend from samford) is able to run again!

david's aunt is having a hard time after his uncle passed away

tommy's mom & step-dad traveling this week (alaskan cruise), suzanne's cousin (rett) is having a very hard time dealing with the loss of his aunt, uncle, and 2 cousins who were killed in a wreck in june, suzanne's cousin (trey - roseann walker's brother) has swine flu

jennilee had emergency gallbladder surgery on friday

chasity & brad:

chasity, jude, and sanders traveling back home today from columbus

i received a text from joanna recently!

"JOSEPH WYATT HANCOCK was born on monday at 5:01 p.m...7 lbs 11 oz and is healthy and happy"

just wanted you all to know!  she said in lifegroup on sunday that he would be here before the end of the week!

mary had an mri on her back this week and has a bulging disc that is torn.  hopefully this can be corrected with therapy and no surgery will be needed

erin's grandmother in florida is not doing well.  they are going to be traveling down there soon

corey will be flying to orlando on tuesday - pray for kecia and madilyn as he is away

Care Sunday

This past Sunday was Care Sunday. The care groups have been redone a little, so if you are reading this and were not in LifeGroup Sunday, it may have changed. Your care group leader should have been in contact with you in the past week or so, though.

We are going to try to start getting together as a class at least once in the fall and once in the spring. This will be for everybody - kids included!

Demetria is going to start "party planning". She is also going to organize things for the girls to do!

Paul is going to figure out things for the guys!

suzanne & tommy~
family of chris ulmer (basketball player from murrah who was killed in a car wreck on the 23rd) - he was saved at "slam" (a basketball ministry that we had at the old campus) - and he was an only child. friends, heather & tyler, need prayers for their marriage. jeremy's surgery went well.

emily & jeff~
tracy (from arkansas) - 35 years old - has been diagnosed with a paralyzed stomach and had to have a gastric pacemaker placed - has 3 children. ray and kim causey - about 20 weeks pregnant - have found out that their baby does not have kidneys.

brandi & david~
1 of their companies is at a crossroad...

brie & tc~
tc got a promotion. regan is having tubes.

friend - celeste pickett - lump on colon turned out to be rectal cancer. another friend - her 8 year old daughter was sexually assaulted by her (the mom's) boyfriend - court date has been set.
(for dani & jason): dani had an allergic reaction to a shot & has strep! jason had a job he was about to start, but then they had a hiring freeze.
praise: won at ms theatre association - will be going to regional! there was a wreck going to mta, but everything is o.k.

kaden's appointment was wednesday - no big resolution, but the pediatric dermatologist did confirm that it was a very severe case of psoriasis. started kaden on a low dose of a chemo drug. remember the lady that was in the wreck with demetria's mom - she is still in the hospital.

wendy & roger~
roger's aunt has a recurrence of cancer. gracia has a fever.

allison & wint~
allison's dad cut his finger really bad and is having surgery to fix it.

jennilee & brad~
brad's dad's back surgery went well

robbin & todd~
robbin is looking for a job.

New Baby!

Carley and Jeff welcomed their baby boy, William "Brayden" Parrot, yesterday!

6lbs 11 oz

20 1/2 inches

Carley ended up having a c-section and would like your prayers during her recovery. She and the baby are doing well. Jeff did not mention any problems related to him being early. They are at Women's Hospital Room 110.

We will have a sign up sheet for food Sunday!

ty's sister having surgery 1/5/09 - gallbladder.

demetria's mom was in a wreck before Christmas - she is o.k., but needs to get back to work. the elderly lady who was in the other car is in bad shape. kaden - psoriasis is still bad...they have an appointment with a pediatric dermatologist in march. demetria's brother - work. demetria's cousin, julie, got engaged and her fiance is deployed now for a year.

lee/mary:
lee is traveling. lee's mom is having surgery for chron's

shan/jenny:
shan's grandfather had a hard time through the holidays (his first without shan's grandmother)

wint/allison:
friend has a blood infection

tommy/suzanne:
suzanne's cousin, stephanie gillespie, had a little girl premature. she is in the nicu at umc. also, the pastor of suzanne's home church is in methodist rehab

the wright family - the mom just had a baby and thew a blood clot that killed her.

remember the wallace family - their mom (a friend of lisa's) was killed in a car wreck a week ago. she leaves 2 daughters - 1 is about to get married and the other is a 10th grader at madison central

brandi/david
david's cousin's child committed suicide. they are agreeing on house stuff (praise)! david's mom - spot on her breast

chasity/brad
friend of chasity's family (stanley hayes) has stomach cancer - while undergoing surgery, he suffered from kidney failure. van (chasity's brother) is going to be a father in the spring.

kim's grandfather - lymph nodes removed

mary/lee
lee passed the series 7 exam!

jennifer/ty
a friend went to the MEA for bronchitis - had a reaction to the rocephin. a friend's mom died. ty's mom died 6 years ago and this time of the year is hard.

suzanne/tommy
a customer of tommy's died in his sleep (32 years old). some of tommy's family had their home broken in to.

erin/mike
erin's mom - lung disease, but not as bad as what they thought. sunday was erin/mike's 6 year anniversary!!!
